There's Something About Mya...
... there's something about Mya that brings the sweetness out of Connor.
You can tell he adores her in such an innocent, sweet way.
Wherever he goes, he wants to hold her hand...
...but Mya is Autistic & just wants to pull away sometimes. Well, Connor doesn't know what that means. He just knows that he loves her and wants to be close to her...
... and he knows that persitence, when it comes to matters of the heart, is the KEY. And he's not giving up- he wants that hand. : )
He usually isn't so affectionate with his other playgroup pals...
... just with Mya.
When they both saw this stage, they began to dance. Separately at first.
But then Connor being Connor... he decided to grab ahold of Mya...
... and lead her around in a dance.
And BOY did they dance...
... and dance.
I'm thinking he's having a post-dance moment. : )
It was an amazingly awesomely wonderful kind of morning.
There's just something about this girl that is so precious...
Connor can't seem to get enough of her.
Thank goodness she appears to have the patience of a Saint. : )

ABsolutely precious, Deb -- you captured some amazing moments here -- SO much emotion in them. Really & truly quite beautiful. To be able to make the audience feel like they were actually there or are even watching something LIVE is truly a talent.

Thanks All for all the comments! I am learning this new camera little by little. I know I have tons more room for improvement but I am having fun learning and experimenting.

Thanks Kel! I swear, when Danna opened my eyes to the Pioneer Woman website I began to realize that there's so much more one can do with a blog! I was always kind of shy (I know, hard to believe) when it came to really "speaking" on my blog. I just basically wanted to post photo's and that was all. But then I realized how much "more" a blog could be when the photo's were actually explained. DUH! A lightbulb went off in my head. So anywho... I'm really starting to enjoy the blog because it has become more of an outlet for bottled (stay-at-home-mom) creativity. It just feels like "more" now, in a good way. So I am glad you all are liking the different format of my posts. I have to admit I still feel awkward & a wee bit dorky about the whole thing but I also feel good too. Weird, huh? And WOW, I just wrote a book here! ; )
I'll sort through those Aidan photo's and get them in the mail sometime next week for you!!! : )

Another stumble-overer from PW. Beautiful photos of beautiful children. Mya is so lucky to have someone like Connor as a friend.

Wow Jess-- that's one of the sweetest things anyone has ever said to me! Though Mya probably doesn't think of herself as lucky-- she can get a bit tired of Connor's tenacity, even though his heart is in the right place. : ) Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you 'round these parts again. ; ) And don't you just love the Pioneer Woman site? I consider myself shamelessly addicted.
