New House.

Just thought I'd post some pic's of our soon-to-be new home. We got a chance to meet with the current owners who are super nice. I took a few pictures for those of you who have been asking me for some! : )

It's so cute! I so envy the pond and the trees. I miss green. Can't wait to see it in person. Hope all is well.

Deb, that is AWESOME!! I can't get over that yard -- of course you bought it for that . . . it couldn't be more perfect. And I love the kitchen too -- very happy to see a dishwasher for you. Love the stone wall stuff & the dark green-painted wall.

Sooooo, what on earth are you guys gonna do with all that room???? ;o)

  1. Nee Nee--

"Can't wait to see it in person..." does that mean you will be coming for a visit soon?!?!? I'm definitely super excited, there's no backing out for you now! ; )

    & D--

Not quite sure what we are going to do with our new space, though the house isn't super-big but the yard more than makes up for it! Our 1st priority is painting the living room... then Connor's room (going to be a dinosaur theme)... then our room last. Already got all the colors picked out! It's amazing how exciting the thought of actually painting walls is to us... after always living with white. I'm practically giddy just thinking of getting started. : ) And the thought of Connor growing up by the water like I did is the best part of the whole deal. The best memories of my youth are those that were made at the lake. HA-- For whatever reason, what just popped into my head was the image of me & your sis jumping on that air mattress out in the water... and then popping it... hee hee. I don't remember but I think your mom was ticked off, not sure about that part, though!!!

Deb, the pics you took of the new house are gorgeous, how the light filters through the windows, must have been near evening time. I can't wait to see how the colors you picked out for the walls will change the lighting effects, sure it will look even better, plus I'm picturing the clock above the now-barren fireplace, it's gonna look fabulous! Your fellow discount shopper..guess who? (clue: I just got another 15 percent coupon in the mail from Kohls! hee hee)
