Pretty leaf at the Zoo. Fall is definitely here.
Fall

An impatient tree. The only changed one in a sea of green.

Penguin area.

Looking at... absolutely nothing. Don't ask me, I just follow him around with a camera.
DSC_0015

In the monkey house & not the least bit interested in the monkey's.
DSC_0020

Gorilla's in the mist. Har. (Hey, maybe that was a wee bit lame but it WAS a little foggy. Sort of).
DSC_0021

Excited to spot a Gorilla picking its nose with a stick. I was kind of excited, too.

DSC_0024

Making monkey noises.
DSC_0028

Not sure why Connor appears so tense in this photo? And why is his hand on the Gorilla's... oh, nevermind. Some questions are best left unanswered.
DSC_0029

More monkey noises.
DSC_0031

Some kind of monkeys-that-look-like-chimps area. I'm all about the education when I go to the Zoo, can't you tell?
DSC_0034

At least I know what kind of animal THIS is. But I can't spell it and I'm much too busy to Google the proper spelling at the moment. Leave me alone.
DSC_0036

So fuzzy, yet so stinky.
DSC_0058

Grinning at some fellow kiddies.
DSC_0059

"Can I stop smiling now Mom, sheeeeeesh."
DSC_0061-copy

I had to take this face or leave it. I took it.
DSC_0064

I have no idea what he's looking at here, or what area we were in for that matter. I was all about getting a cool shot with the railing, not going to lie.
DSC_0072

I really should have looked at what he was pointing at.
DSC_0073

This one just makes me snicker. He kept saying "I can't see anything." To which I replied, "Well, keep trying." Nevermind that I didn't put a quarter in. * GIGGLES *
DSC_0076

Creepy called, it wants its statue back. Connor, being the good sport that he is, gave the little puppy a pat... after I told him to. I don't think he was picking up on the whole creepy vibe.
Creepy_Called

For whatever reason, this one seems slightly less creepy, don't you think?
Because_one_isn't_enough

"I'm outta' here. That guy was sort of CREEPY."
DSC_0105

"Can't a kid hunker privately anymore, jeeeeeeez?!"
DSC_0109

Taking a much needed break.
DSC_0112

Having lunch. I love this face. It's kind of saying, "Seriously. Are you done?"
DSC_0179-copy

And then this face. It's like someting snapped after I took the millionth picture. He gave in. Surrendered to the camera and his innermost being. I love it when people surrender to the camera.
Being_Weird

The END. For now.

What a handsome little guy you have there! Just curious what program do you use to edit your photos?

I love the trip to the Zoo! Conner really is a good camera sport, did you know creepy statues turn real after closing!

  1. Thanks sja! I use Photoshop CS3 for all the editing. : )

& Anonymous (sign your name next time at the bottom of your post if I know you, turkey-butt!):

And SERIOUSLY, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if statues turn real after closing... CREEPY things that they are! ; D

An impatient tree -- beautiful photo, but the writer in me is IN LOVE with your word choice.

First pic is really breathtaking, Deb.

    LOL @ nose picking

The one above monkey noises, he looks 7.

Definitely cool railing shot -- :o)

    Love all the commentary!!!

The statues had me rolling -- it looks like the Narnia witch paid a visit!

Connor looks so much like a kid ready for school it's scary! He's growing up fast and handsome, too!
Love the beautiful fall colors in your shots! No carousel ride?? Or ponies??
    Nana

  1. ACK D! Don't say he looks 7, my heart just broke a little bit! ; P

Glad you liked the pic's-- and believe it or not, I haven't seen Narnia (don't spank me!). : D

& Mom-- nope, no pony or carousel ride that day. Just good old-fashioned walking. But we ate lunch there so I really can't say we saved any money-- that place is EXPENSIVE.
