The 88 degree Pumpkin Patch Outing...

10/8/07
What a sweaty kid we had at the end of the day. 88 degrees in WI, in October is just wrong. Oh well, Rob loved it (yes folks, he may be a bit crazy-- could be he has some lizard blood in him or something? Hmmmmm....) ; )
2 over-ripe pumpkins... ; ) A glaringly-white goat. The invisible pig. He's really there, folks... you just can't see him.
More face painting fun. Don't be jealous, James. : ) If you ever come to visit us and we're out of paint-- we'll just use Sharpies.

In the little schoolhouse cottage at the farm.

Daddy making him do lessons. ; )

Thinking he can do it all on his own.

Get to pulling, boy! You gotta earn those pumpkins.

Hot, tired, sweaty and heading to the truck. ~ The End!

You all are very adorable:)What a fun time for an almost three year old. I miss Fall in WI. 88 degrees huh? Why that's a winter day with a bit of chill here in Phoenix.

  1. "A bit of a chill..." you are too funny! : ) Isn't it crazy how our ideas change as to what is hot -vs- warm? I remember being in Phoenix and thinking, YAY, it's going to be only 90 today... that's not so bad!. Now in WI I'm like YAY, it's going to be 65 today! Ahhhhh, perspective.

5 comments?! And I haven't even gotten here yet? Do I know this blog? *wink* hee hee

I love these pics! And that's exactly how our pumpkin patch visits go every year -- in 88 degrees or hotter. I remember trick or treating in WI usually involved flurries or something. Down here, you have to pick your costume based on "sweat value." haha
