Incredibly beautiful woman in the mom/son set -- photographs like nature!

ADORE the chemistry caught b/t the mom/daughter in second set -- absolutely tangible & beautiful.

Beautiful photos Deb! Love the natur-ish shots for the backgrounds! Love the chubby cheeks on the little guy, too!

Hi there! Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting!! I love Pioneer Woman and glad to share that interest with somebody... so...I was looking through your portaits and they are STUNNING!! Where did you get those great textures?? I am still learning photo shop and have not dug too deep into the artsy part of photography yet in terms of editing- maybe you can give me some tips? How do you like that d90? I am thinking of upgrading to a 500 or 700 within the next year...and buying a 70-200mm lens.. I am in love with Nikon! I am bookmarking your site so I can visit again!

  1. Hi Christy,

And thank YOU for stopping by my blog as well! : )

I actually have the D80-- but I love it, it's a great camera and not too confusing for a first DSLR.

And as to textures-- I'm kind of just learning myself! I found the ones I use just by searching in Yahoo for "free Photoshop textures." The main thing you have to understand in Photoshop to use textures are Layer Masks. I think there are some great step-by-step tutorials on PW's site that'll walk you through Layer Masks as well as using textures. Feel free to shoot me any questions if you get stuck-- I'd love to help! : )

Good luck! Hope to hear from you
again someday. I'll definitely be returning to your blog as well : )
